Song you want played, and why?
It’s hard to pick one song for this, but hearing this piece (and the album) seemed like one of the first times I found music that extended human experience and into someplace else. It’s like the composers have disappeared into it – they’ve given themselves over to a larger force. It’s also just very peaceful and beautiful, and it doesn’t require listeners to respond in any particular way, unlike a lot of music used in memorials.
