Your song, and why?
Mambo #5 by Lou Bega
This piece has been one of my favourite songs since the 5th grade when it came out. I request it at all of my weddings, sing it at karaoke, and I’ve raved about it to enough people that it’s become a highlight on my personal instagram stories. Yes, there is a highlight for “Mambo #5”!
I want it to be played at some point during my memorial – perhaps at the beginning of the event. Arguably, no one cries when Mambo #5 is played. I hope to get a few laughs.

No-Go Songs include anything by Celine Dion (unless from her upbeat Québécoise days) or any song with “rose” in it – unless it’s the one that was featured in The Room.
